just on the note of facebook

do employers check peoples facebook pages and their status.

is it a big factor for employing ppl?

my friend had a go at me coz he thought i posted something unappropriate on his status. He said his employers and work collegues can  see this.

i thought he was an idiot

he posted I have a good idea to make me sleep easier. alcohol + medicine = sleep.

my reply was spankwire.com

I always have a look on Facebook when anyone is off work here to see if they have had a big night out.
In the same way pre interviews we look to see who has a profile on Facebook and it gives you your first impression of them.

I went to a club in Mayfair this weekend and our first round of drinks was £615. When I paid it on my card, our Polish hostess said 'and what about my tip?'

I wouldn't have minded if she asked in a cheeky way or said something like 'and you can buy me a drink' or 'dont forget me' but the direct asking for money shit didn't sit well with me and [  ] she got tipped at the end of the night.

lol what did you expect - she obv pegged u for a mug.

never been to an expensive club then?

WTF? I hope there was a shag included in that.........

Hello Everyone,

I and the rest of the DTD Management have been viewing the comments here and we wanted to clarify a few things on behalf of DTD.

1.   Pokerstars floor staff advised us that this is how they did EPT’s and they would like to use the same procedure at DTD.
Once we realised it was from 72 places and not just the final we decided against it and reverted back to the usual procedures at the cash desk.

2.   DTD management does not and never have taken any of the tips, staff have to manage these themselves and they distribute them according to hours worked, DTD management do not handle any of the money.

3.   DTD management doesn’t encourage tips and like all the other people I personally tip if I receive good service or make a final, not likely since DTD opened LOL

I hope this clarifies the situation

I am absolutely proud to say I have never been to a club that charges that amount for a round of drinks.

I would love the oppurtunity to treat a bunch of minimum wage workers in my own area, maybe the ones who work outside in all weathers, and the ones who clean toilets etc, to a massive night out with 3% of the prize pool. I'd get them all completely chicken nuggered and comission a big group photo where we're all flipping V signs at the camera.

Best phrase ever.
