Just recently the forum seems to be dominated by this topic, personally I dont see how people lend out money to people they only appear to know through the poker world but each to their own, but as there are I was wondering would it not be a better cause if you all clubbed together and raised £50K to back me in my return to the Philippines? Obviously you wouldn't get your money back just thought I would say this in advance  |

Perhaps its time to set up a grimming board, so that requests for victims can be separated from genuine requests for staking. Maybe stipulate that only members with less than 50 posts can start grimming threads. Would make things much simpler for all involved, especially the gullible and the easily led.

Funnily enough I know of several people that have been grimmed massive in thailand/phils simply because they can't own the land and house they buy out there. I'm deadly serious......

This. Also you cant always be sure the house/land your buying is even owned by the person selling it!!! Fortunately not been down this road. |

Hahaha, I know one guy who has done 3 houses to wives in thailand. Fortunately you can build a palace for 50k there and he could afford it :-)
