Hi, anyone here been to deauville before? Spent a while googling the best (cost affective / fastest) way to get to deauville for the ept next week, but still unsure.
The ept website is great for booking hotels, but doesnt help much with travel, so if anyone has an experience (good or bad) pls let me know,
cheers, marc

you also have to change train stations in paris,

the worst stop on the tour to get to imo, but worth it once there & it's possible to get reasonable priced digs

glgl if you go

Can also get the ferry from Portsmouth (the overnight one is best and get a room to kip in), and then the drive is a lot shorter at the other end (as the ferry goes to Caen or Le Havre).

Taxis from Cornwall to Gatwick/Heathrow were not unusual when I was driving there
