Sorry to hear that you are experiencing these issues.
When the client continues to run in the background please press Ctrl + Alt + Delete and close down the process casino.exe to exit it altogether and this clears the problem (not ideal but better than leaving the programme running when switching off).
I don't know why you were told that it must be IE I can only think they mean ensure you have the latest IE version (or whichever browser you use).
In terms of the anti virus telling you that there are unsecurw elements you shouldn't receive this error however it does appear for some reason. It's hard for us to advise here as I know players don't want to ignore these messages.
I can guarantee that DTD are doing everything we can to improve the service to players and promise we will keep working to make the whole DTD experience much better after these few hiccups
