Cut off been raising quiet a bit when folded to him, bb is an old woman who isnt the greatest,I'm in sb.

CO and me both have around 28k, blinds 400/800 with 100 running ante.

Nothing was happening at the time for me, no hands, raises getting 3 bet/c bets hitting brick walls.

Couple hands previous CO lost a 40kish pot and could sense he may have been tilted.

I'd 3 bet him once earlier and c bet flop and he folded. Other than that no major history.

Anyway hand in question, he makes it 2k folds to me in sb I make it 6k with, he calls.

Flop is a8cj I bet 6k, he calls after a short delibertaion.

Turn is q I shove my 16k in, he umms and aahhhs and eventually calls with T8 HH. River King.

So my question is have I spooned it? Did he spoon it?

Just some general thoughts would be good.

Thanks

Cheers Smiley

I fold pre unless I absolutely know the guy is folding way too much to this 3b, in which case it doesn't matter what I have. This hand is just so bad, it doesn't flop at all well and doesn't have any blockers (not that you need them, but it helps). As played we are pretty happy cbing this flop with a nice amount of backdoor equity and a board that should hit us fairly hard, but once we get called I'm happy just shutting down. Don't think we're really going to get many folds on this texture with our turn jam, and the fact that we've basically got no back up equity and are almost certainly drawing dead means I'll just check fold and deal with it. Bit of a disaster from him, but hey, we've got no control over what our opponents do really, just what we do.
