He's just a human being who makes mistakes like everyone else.  He did wrong, he was big enough to admit it to his wife, said sorry and has moved on.

MPs need stringing up for various things but not for this.

course not, Im not saying what he did was right, I'm saying it's none of our business, same with royals, entertainers or sportsmen/women.

whether or not he's made a mistake or needs to make amends for something is a different matter. What I'm saying is issues like this aren't black and white and shouldn't be judged my the tabloid media or anyone else.

I had a friend who was out trianing as a kickboxer 3 nights a week. then he joined a pool team on another night, then he got a door job for two more nights. after a year his wife had an affair.
Is he without blame?
is she in any way justified?
is it any business of anyone reading this?

Adam, if Prescott (as has been reported in the press) has taken the lead for Labour in attacking the tories over sleaze & having affairs etc, does THAT not make his infidelity relevant & impacting on his job?

it's certainly egg on his face (pun intended) that he was so vocal against Tory sleaze during the Major Govt, but my point more generally is that it's a shame peoples personal lives have to be such a focus. He's a politician, a policy maker, a governor. who he's sleeping with is of no consequence.

Sven is another example. from day one the red tops were out to get him. who an England Manager is sleeping with has no impact on his ability to run the team, but it is a way of discrediting him and another stick to beat him with.

What part of "He did wrong" don't you understand?

He doesn't deserve a public flogging.  Everybody makes mistakes.
