Listen up peeps. There's a new man on campus, and he goes by the name of TightEnd of Tightendedness... and he's got a challenge for you.

20 non-multiple choice sports questions.

You up for the challenge?!

If so, then get your skates on and head on over to the site. Or, alternatively, you could just click the link below...

TIGHTY'S SPORTS QUIZ

And don't worry, I haven't forgotten...

GEEKY FILM QUIZ RESULTS

Amdittedly, there was some debate regarding question 4. My answer was taken from multiple sources, but then I find out that other sources give a different value. Either way, there's only a 10 or so difference, so most seem to have had there wits about them and gone for the closest... including a very smart fellow from Birmingham. Well done that man.

Also, whilst you're there, feel free to check out the new blog entries, including a stunning opener from this week's Magnus .

Have fun, folks.

Question 10 was wrong also.

China had over 5000 cinemas in 1995 and over 130 million attendances, Italy had 3816 cinemas and 90 million attendances.

You can see the attendances here:

I guess I'll have to be happy with 50% (that is a pass right), I see no bronze stars awarded. Hmmmm must try better.

Unless I'm mistaken, these stats don't say anywhere that China had over 5000. Also, what makes these so reliable?

I was in China in 1995 and I travelled the country counting all the cinemas. I only totalled 3815.

Are you counting Tibet as part of China though?

The fight club question reminded me of this little gem - can't quite decide if its genius or insanity.  http://metaphilm.com/philm.php?id=29_0_2_0

on an added note if your seeking further film-geeky quizery : http://www.filmwise.com

I may disagree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to mis-attribute this quote to Voltaire.

I counted them from a distance. Didn't want to cross the border.
