Got knocked out of the $20k gtd on blonde last night with this hand.  Strangely enough having just read it back I played it differently to how I remembered (thought I'd been raised at the turn rather than having checked).  I think my mistake here was not putting all my chips in on the turn - is that a fair analysis?  What about post flop - should I have checked/made a bigger bet? Do you think he would have called if I had gone all in after the turn?

As always, grateful for any advice!

If you bet 12-1500 into this idiot, he isnt going to call.

You played this hand fine I would have bet a bit more on the flop , at least half the pot but 600 is ok.  On the turn the board becomes a lot less friendly so moving here would be a good move. I dont think the guy folds tho he had the nut flush draw and is up and down to boot.  unlucky

that's what I thought - I wanted a call and though 2x min bet would be most likely to generate a decent sized pot.  As it turned out, it was a very nice pot (for him!)

Would be interested to know how many of you in his position would have called if I'd lumped them all in on the turn?

Nothing wrong with 600, you don't want to scare him off.
At the end of the day tou got all of your chips in against him when you wanted to and he sucked out, just unlucky.

Why? Its a fairly uncoordinated board , not double suited you need to be getting people in with you here.

Nothing wrong with 600 as long as you know why you are betting it!

Someone else raised, betting 600 here is great if you are making a stop bet and stops him bluffing but i dont think that is what we want to happen! It does build the pot though for a nice turn bet, but then you checked!

It seems like you made no connection between the flop play and the turn play. Both are correct but i think you may not have thought the hand out properly.

NO!!!!!, i want to engineer a way to get ALL of my chips in on this flop, i sometimes bet small with a hand like this to look weak and induce a reraise.

Well played, I usually want to bet a little bit bigger on the flop though.
