I had a dream about this the other nite amazingly.. I had made the final table of the poker-million and they announced me and the music started, and it was Black Eyed Peas--Lets get it started

I (almost) woke up in a cold sweat, sick to the core of my soul that my subconscious would select such a vile excuse for music as my swan-song

If I had a choice, then I'd opt for the beginning of Spaceman--Zoo Babylon

Some great replies (what a mixed set of musical tastes).

Right, to open it up (and allow some urine extraction) - nominate entrance music for others...

Try not to be too obvious - Tikay & Clive Dunn's Granddad is a    Cheesy

Mine would be

The Man don't give a F*** - Super Furry Animals

Quite possibly the best song I have seen live.

they used the intro to Phantom of the Opera in a lucazade ad with Daley Thompson if you remember....awesome track

Top shout mate!! Did the song go into a bit of techno before going back to the chorus when you heard them live? Where did you see them by the way? I have a really good MP3 of that.

I can't really remember mate, I'm guessing that if they did it would stick out in my mind.  I've seen them twice, Dec '97 at brixton supporting Blur and the second time was headlining Shepherds Bush, it was either just before or just after Guerilla came out.

The highlight for me of both shows was Demons with the brass section, and the drummer brining two massive Kettle drums to play alongside a bit of a dancy type tune.  Basically it was the bit on the end of Radiator.  I think the end of Mountain People?  Absolutely class.  He bounced his stick into the crowd at the end, off of the drum skin.

Great topic by the way.  Hard to decide on one, so i have a small shortlist.  Better not make the final then!!

Sabotage - Beastie Boys (must stop before 32 seconds though because of naughty word)

When the Sun Goes Down - Arctic Monkeys (not the slow bit, just when it kicks in)

Setting Sun - Chemical Brothers (pumps it up fine)

and just for loyalty to our favourite site:

Heart of Glass - Blondie.
