what about van nistelrooy for chelsea, no settling in period needed like with buying shevchenko

Man U would never sell to Chelsea.

OUT: Gudjohnsen, Bridge, SWP. Bridge to Spurs  Cool

IN: Ballack, Shevchenko and one other.

I think Bridge would be a good signing for you, I also think you need to strengthen at right full back too.

I agree. We had a £2million bid for Chimbonda refused by Wigan this week. But he is DEFINITELY coming to Spurs.

Now that is more likely, but Ferguson fancies the boy from Lyon.

Mourinho has called Gudjonsen "the white Maradona" before and thinks he's an excellent professional, so I doubt he's leaving.

One of Crespo or Drogba will go.

Bridge may yet play again as Del Horno was poor.

I think he rates him highly but he has only played a handful of times this season... to be honest if he's such a good professional I'd expect him to want to leave now and play some football. Its always a fine line between being a good pro, plugging away in training - waiting for your chance, and sitting on your arse picking up the money! No doubt Jose wants to keep him in his squad, but i dont think he could stop him leaving if he wanted to.

Ballack has come. I'm quite happy as it stopped Man U getting him and becoming great again and now some first team players at Chelsea (ie Lampard) may get upset!

I have heard in one paper that Shevchenko is going to Chelsea for Crespo and £30 million.

Even by Chelsea standards that is idiotic!  Crespo may not have produced his best form in England but he scored more goals in Italy than Shevchenko and is IMO a better finisher.

Shev is now what 29-30??? coming into the twlight of his career but they still want to pay £30m???

Ballack on the other hand is a terrific player who deserves all the praise, can be lazy at times but can also produce magic.

Gudjohnson may leave Chelsea for Blackburn I heard a few weeks ago, He is a good player but doesn't score enough goals.

The season he played up front with Hasselbaink they scored 55 between them.

Since Mourinho he's been dropped into midfield.

Yeah that maybe, but that was in a different Chelsea Team, with a different mentality.  Even if mourniho has dropped him back he still isnt scoring enough, he has been injured aswell i believe???  anyway if he leaves, i think it may take him a while to get the goalscoring touch back, thats if he gets it back at all.  (not everyone is as good as Robbie!!!!) lol
