well does that mean no one will get any points then as the rule is if a deal is done everyone get the points for when the deal was struck

The rule only applies if the deal is done at the top of the money not the bottom.

as a deal was done at 18th do they all 0 points as thats how many 18th gets

Dan Alspach OUT - his under the gun all-in was called by Adam Lounis, and then small blind Imraan Ladak took his whole time to go all-in over the top!  Reluctantly Adam called this too and showed 88.  Alspach had Q8hearts and Imraan had found 10 10!

Flop came: 2 K A 4 K and Imraan almost tripled up.

Dan Alspach also took 14,990, and the next person out gets 22,485.

*************Last hand before break and AGAIN someone's out:   Nicolae Simcelescu is 13th.

He moved all-in with A7 of clubs against Tim Anders' J9 of diamonds.  He spiked the nine to knock another short stack out.  Jack Nine, now I'm sure I've heard about that hand before somewhere...

Is that a final table of 9?

I saw a deal done to pay 10th in a 10 handed final in a tournament in Barcelona, and that didnt affect the rankings.

yep, the reasoning being giving 10th their money back isnt going to affect the play in the latter stages, wheras chopping or even leaving 10% to play for is.

Ilya Bulihev OUT - he re-raised all-in with AQ off and the UTG raiser Alan Goehring called with JJ.  The flop was multicoloured rags and Ilya takes 22,485.

Incidentally, AQ off is the hand that just doubled up Stephane Cohen...

So the chips now look more like:

Alan Goehring      390,000
Roland de Wolfe  505,000
Gilles Haddad       135,000
Didier Leroy        210,000
Curt Kohlberg      190,000
Juha Helppi         280,000
Stephane Cohen  100,000
Adam Lounis        60,000
Michel Zajdenberg 400,000
Imraan Ladak        147,000
Tim Anders          130,000

Stephane Cohen OUT -

He raced Tim Anders' 88 all the way, but the 8 gave Tim the certainty of victory and Stephane is walking away with 22,485.  He looks pretty happy.

Adam Lounis OUT -
Getting short he made an all-in move with 10 8 and was called by chip monster Michel Zajdenberg with AK.  No help for Adam and he gets a prize of 22,485 too.

They are redrawing seats for the final table Mark I (Final Mark II is tomorrow, and 6-handed).
