EXCUSE ME Robert - it was ME that described the meal in perfect, fluent French.

And note to Phil Shaw - note this.......

http://www.blondepoker.com/....see the articke "Tikays a Snake in the Grass".......I have had a whole heap of e-mails about this, suggesting that folks concur.

He says hi to you Ironside, btw..

Blinds are now a sizeable 5,000 - 10,000 with a 1,000 ante.  The shortest stack is on about 100,000 which sounds a lot but is only 10 big blinds.  Curt Kohlberg went all-in on Roland's big blind for a further 85,000 and he gave it a big dwell, apparently with a pair.  When he folded he asked what Curt had, and got the reply:  "What did you say when someone asked you the same question - You have to pay!"

I know how to put my picture up now, it's all good...

I have just recounted the final table and there are definitely nine of them... I am afraid I missed out the number '8'.  And it's a lucky number and all.  Silly me.  I'll modify it.  Then THIS post will make no sense.  Ah life is complicated.

Brian - aka The Rookie - I faxed that form off to The Palm Beach Casino today, will ring them Friday (if you remind me) & check they got it OK. But they would not accept my cheque at this late stage, so we have to pay cash (for you - DC & me are entered & paid for) on Saturday, so dont arrive after 3pm. OK?

The Vic - PLEASE don't go there without a proper shirt on, you (Brian) won't get in. And your Mum wrote to me today, she's been telliing me ALL sorts of things......

Sorry I could not chat much this morning, was pulled out. Got to bed at 11 oclock - this morning!
