I found tonight, a few old Annuals from when I was a kid, one of which was Fame.

I loved the show as a kid, anyways I thought what a find 1984 Annual must be worth a few quid.
So I type it into ebay Fame Annual 1984,and there are selling for a whopping 99p lol

Am sure most of you are to young to remember the show but it brought back some nice memories

I remember FlashDance .  I think that was around the same time, but i may be wrong  Cheesy.  I was 4 going on 5 when your Fame annual came out.  I can kind of  remember the show...lol    Kids never forget things at that age.  My mind becomes weaker every year I age.

Fame was brilliant...remember it well.

I took my youngest sister to see it at the pictures for her birthday and we went for a wimpy afterwards with a knickerbocker glory for puddin'

My sister says she will never forget it as it was the first time i had been nice to her  Cheesy

Does anyone remember the Ian Allan Trainspotters Books.

We used to underline the numbers of every steam engine we kopped. Well edgy stuff.

Tikay the trainspotter eh?  Well I never.......although must have been tricky not to misread those engine numbers !!   thumbs up

Sorry couldn't resist......

Its quite interesting what sells on ebay and what doesnt.

I have quite often dug out something from the back of a cupboard thinking it must be worth a few bob only to find its totally worthless. Memories are more precious.

Moving swiftly back onto topic!   Wink

I remember Fame too although I didn't watch it much.   The music from the series was very popular I recall.

Seem to remember a particularly sad episode/song about Mr Shorofsky ..........was it Starmaker ?   Sad

Really tugged at the heartstrings...but then I'm an old softie!
