Who else thinks this site is on a huge downward spiral?
I just recieved a player to player transfer, i then went to cash that money out to my bank. I get a call from Party saying i cant do this. Suprised i asked why, well apparently i have to play 450 raked hands now before i can cash out MY money!! wtf is that all about.

From what I understand, they are up in terms of numbers.
What you have to remember is that they've sacrificed aspects like customer service, rakeback, etc to focus on promotion and marketing, and the latter has made them the most frequented site on the net.

This is part of their anti-rakeback procedure. Many people used to get paid rakeback via player to player transfer so they put this restriction on cashouts.

Also Party Poker have charges to pay for withdrawals. "We are not a bank" is what they've told me previously.
Fair point.
Probably a money laundering thing they want to avoid too.

Heads-up is the fastest way to clear the raked hands requirement, Flushie.
$50 in heads-up fees = 500 raked hands.

really? Would I lie to you? When you withdraw, in the space for comments, make sure you spell it out that you've wagered enough to withdraw the funds. I've had them decline it without checking properly. Although they did give me $50 goodwill bonus after I complained.

It may be cheaper after summer for a flight. I would wait till then . My friend went to India once, he said the matches were not as good quality as the British ones and kept breaking.
