What is the best football managers game for PC's? I dont think i've played one since track-suit manager for the spectrum 128k mega-puter..and kinda fancy playin one for a few days

I think I have a PS2 somewhere in my house, so if there is a good one on that as well, I'd apreciate the expert knowledge of the board!

My advice is that you cannot beat 01/02 and 02/03 Championship Manager (which you can get updates for).

Football Manager 2006 is good but I'm not one for playing 10 hours seasons!

I had FM05 (may have been 06 - the one with Lovejoy from Soccer AM in it) and it was excellent, every stat you could possibly want but it did take a long time to play.

Gave up after a while as I could never do well in it for some reason.  I read posts everywhere about how easy it was and I couldn't do any good so I thought perhaps it wasn't for me.

can you get the game with the updates already "installed" or added on?

I;d like one with the current players if that possible.. as you can see I have approx. zero clue!

Not sure but I expect it;s only a case of buying the latest game then going to the official website and seeing if there are any updates for it.

Do they do updates for footy manager games?
