We just saw a quite remarkable hand involving Big Dave Smith & Kaz Kurbi.

Dave Smith had Raised pre-Flop, & Kaz had defended in the SB.

Flop was....

Kaz checked, Dave Smith bet, Kaz called.

Turn,

As before - Kaz checks, Dave bets, Kaz, after a lengthy dwell, calls.

River....

Kaz now comes out betting, the full 25k+ pot.

Dave dwells too, before saying "you must have caught the straight then, I Pass".

At which, Kaz turns over  .....

Proper Poker!

Fazzz just exited in 10th after a trips v flush confrontation with Mr Woodley. Fazzz failed to fill up, & that was that.

Fazzz, who gave a lovely 425 Interview, 10th for £700, to follow two 11th place finishes in the earlier Fessie Events here.

Now it's Dave Smith's turn to make the lonely walk to the Cash Desk. He had TT, Kaz had JJ, & there was no esaaping for either player on a 6-7-9 flop, even though Dave had the extra outs for the straight.

Dave Smith, 9th, £1,000.

Then there were 8.

Blinds just gone 1k-2k, & they have coloured up the shrapnel.

Tom is in poo street, after he Raised it up, & got called. Board came K-K-7-6-2, & Matey Boy bet 4k on the end into a 20k Pot, but Tom is so short-stacked, he felt he had to pass, especially to such an inviting sized "call me PLEASE!" bet. Matey Boy showed 5 high! Tom never flinched, just chewed away on his jobbie thing.

Maureen gets deducted 10 House Poiints - she's Bokked blondeite Mr Digital/Toshywonker/Mr Marsh.

He had A-T, so did Chip Daddy Woodman, but Woodman moved in on the turn, man of many names bravely called, & they BOTH had A-T, but a rivered club 4-flushed it for the Chip Leader, & we are down to 6.

7th place, & £1,600, to Marsh/Mr Digital/Toshywonker. Smashing guy, by the way.

Correction, it was 8th place, & £1,300, not as I reported earlier, for Toshywonker.

Tom has 16,500, but he appears to have a serious problem - his chips seem to be glued to the table. While all around him bust out, he just sit's there, unable to move his chips in.

Tom solves his "chips stuck to the table" problem by verbally declaring "all-in" when he finds KK & a Raiser, & he's doubled up! Now his stack is twice the size - but glued even frmer to the table. What remarkable patience he shows, a right little Micky Wernick in the making. He may well win this, if he cn find some way of unglue-ing those chips.

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.
