Ok the hand in question - blinds 1/2k i'm on BB with red A 10 and about 55k Woodman Limps OTB for 2k and Red-Dog folds.  I raise and make it 6k to go Woody calls flop   I bet out 9k woody calls Turn   and i bet 12k into the pot woody thinks 4 a while asks me how much ive got then puts me all in.

I consider his range again and I honestly think he's trying to take me off the pot.  I've played back at him on numerous occasions over the games.  I have commited a big chunk of my stack into the pot already so I ask the Valet jokingly for a JD and coke and call.

He looks dissapointed then shows   and the river comes

Looks a great call in hindsight but I'm doubting my play here (again)

There has just been some tentative "so how much is there left to play for?" talk, but nobody bit, & they play on.

The really rather pleasant Kaz Kurbi busts in 4th spot, when his AK is no match for the Rugster's bravely played J-3, on a 6-6-8-4-J Board!

Kaz Kurbi, (Kassim Kurbanail actually) 4th, £3,000.

Unlucky Mr.D......for what its worth I stiil think you had enough chips left to not call the all in......I would think I was beat at that stage, and fold.

More mutterings of a saver-based renegotiation of the three remaining Prizes, but no takers, & play continues.

Woody just tangled with Kaz Siraj, messing with Kaz's  BB  - not, in truth, a wise thing to do - & the much more worldly-wise Siraj pushed Woody off with a huge turn bet.

Short Break now, as the Blinds increase to 2,500 - 5,000, which, with average chips at 146,700, is nigh on 30 Big Blinds.

The 3 remaining combatants have all headed off in the direction of the Gent's. I'll join them, maybe I can learn something. Amazing what happens in Toilets during Finals.

Modesty forbids that I report on The Toilet Talks. But If I had to hazard a guess, I'd say that the suggestion was £6k each, & play for the remaining £3,100.

That's just a guess, of course.

If a Deal is done, we will let you know. It is a Ranking Event, after all.

Well there's a thing - a deal has  been brokered.

£6,500 each, play for £1,500, & £100 for the Valets.

And I may yet catch the last trrain home.

IFM,

Kaz actually suggested £1,000 for the Valets, but that met with a pretty cool reception.

Well, deals DO change the way folks play, but we just saw a corker of a play by Rugster, who has just busted Woody, the accident waiting to happen has happened.

Rugs is on the Button, & warns the other 2, "I have Position, I am gonna Raise" - this is before the cards are dealt! Still before the cards are dealt, Woody, in the BB, says "good, try it".

The cards are dealt, Rugs Raises the minimum, Kaz gets outa the way, sensing what's about to happen, Woody Re-Raises the Minimum, & his chips are barely in before Rugs says "I'm all-in" & Woody walks into the trap & insta-calls with AJ, only to see he's dominated by the wily Rugster's AQ.

Woody takes £6,500, & we are down to 2.

Deal or No Deal?

We are now into the usual "Post-Deal" silly play, & it will all be over shortly. As Mr Colclough says, Deals significantly change the way the game is played, which is why, generally, he'a a No Deal man.

And no sooner the prediction, than the reality, it's all over, & Kaj Siraj is our very worthy winner.

Of the final few, it always looked to be between Kaz & Rugster, & deservedly so.

One has to wionder what may have happened if Tom's AA had managed to hold on against Woody's optimistic 9-4, but such is Poker, it's such a beautiful game, & any two cards can & do win.

Congrats to every one of them.

2 more interviews, & I'm outa here.

In the immortal words of sloppy, stick a fork in me.....

Night all.
