After weeks of intense critcism the ICHUC TeamGB Committee have today, finally confirmed their choice of ICHUC TeamGB Manager.

The selection committee have scoured the globe to find the perfect candidate to carry the weight of resposibilty and the expectations of whole nation into the fiercest poker arena in the world against the arch-enemy and inventors of 'sexy poker', Team Ireland.

Many famous names were considered, Ivey, Hellmuth and Negreanu amongst them. In the end however, the committee decided to stick with home grown talent.

ICHUC TeamGB is proud to announce that it's first team manager is COLCHESTER KEV

A spokesman for the committee said 'Kev is the only man for the job. He has the stomach for a battle, an eye for detail and above all knows how a good pie should taste.'

Good Luck To Kev and TeamGB on July 8th

Thankyou thankyou ....  I am Honoured to be asked to take on the role of manager. I will be doing my upmost to ensure a resounding victory for the GB team.

I am already working on diet sheets for the players, I want them to be in peak physical condition for the challenge of the Irish boys...

Our team mascot will be unveiled soon, and I fear for the Irish team... I just dont think they are ready !!!

Looking forward to this immensely, and cant wait to get there and start sending in depth reports back on the progress of the team from EVERY aspect of the tour.

BRING IT ON !!!

You are not wrong. Never in the history of sporting endeavour has there been a mascot to compare with what we are working on.

Welcome aboard Kev!!!

This is going to be some weekend, remember all blondes are encouraged to come and support us in Ireland, there is a €20 charity rebuy the same day as the comp. Flights are dirt cheap and anyone can find a cheap hotel!

The more supporters of either nation the better. After the Heads Up has finished a Euro20 charity tournament will take place.

What a man for the job... I heard he was interviewed for the England footbal job but heard this was in the pipeline so had to decline the FA's offer!

He does have a good track record with managing poker players, Burnley John and Simon Nowab spring to mind... He can go off the rails if too mush JD is applied though! BEWARE!
