I tuned into watch some poker on tv last night and I didn't think that the graphics were great. This got me thinking how viewing could be improved and I think that a four coloured deck would assist in making it easier to view.

I am sure some old timers will want to remain traditional, but as the game shifts more towards the entertainment industry, I think it is a must for TV and I would like to see them become standard in all casinos.

I have misread my hand before, proudly showing what I thought was a flush. Ok that is just careless on my part, but I am so used to seeing a four coloured deck on-line now and I think it is time for it to become standard within the game.

I voted for black and red too.

The four colour just looks wrong to me, puts me ill at ease.

Four colours is the way forward.  Took me a bit of getting used to but I like it.

The first time I saw a four colour deck on a site I was the same as most of you - it looked strange. However, I gave it a go and I would never go back. I even tried out a poker site not that long ago but stopped purely because there was no 4 colour deck option.

It has obvious advantages and no drawbacks other than people's 'stick-in-the-mud'ness.

Surely there is value in the 2-coloured deck if the odd bod makes a flush mistake every now and then?

Two coloured deck for me even on-line.   I realise four colours makes more sense and I have tried it for awhile online but just couldn't get used to it.

Probably an essential requirement though if you're multi-tabling and therefore have less time to make decisions as you switch between tables.

I think multi-tablers are more likely to misread a flush than single-tablers. Are you more or less likely to be multi-tabling than your opponents?

In terms of TV coverage, 4-colour decks should definitely be used - especially there now seems to be the vogue for ever smaller card graphics on-screen.

I have always thought it would be good idea to use four colour decks in live games.  Combined with large lettering these are a big help to players with sight problems. I have never seen a casino where these have been used though.  I think they should be at least available on request.

That's why I'm happy enough with a 2 colour deck - I can just about get Black & Red right.
