HELLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOO..........you are shit scared but then you think.............ok get stung and you will be ok!!!!!!!
So what do you do to get stung exactly?
I am serious, if you were to get stung you would realise its not something to have so much fear about, and would then not have to panic.
Unless you have a reaction and your eyes pop out of your head!!

I'm not keen on snakes at all but my girlfriends fear is weird, she is horribly afraid of anything cellular or looks cellular e.g. she can't eat crumpets.

I get claustrophobic, it really annoys me as I can see no reason for me to start getting stressed and panic feelings in enclosed spaces. But as Red says the more I put myself in the situations the less intense I feel about it.

i have an irrational fear of losing money at the poker table. Loss of money = no bananas
Probably not an irrational fear, more just being squeemish but monkey does not like blood and will usually pass out at the first sight of his own or of anyone elses. Thankfully the only time i've had to go into hospital apart from visiting someone was when i was born (and i didnt really get much choice there, my opinion didnt count for much at the time) and the only time i've seen my monkey doctor in the last 25 years was when he wrote to me about 10 years ago saying "i've had your name on my records for 15 years but i have no idea that you actually exist, please arrange an appointment to come and visit".

Well if i get stung by bee/wasp get me to hospital damn quick or my numbers up
and my eyes don't pop out of my head, butmy windpipe closes up until I can't breathe
spiders hate em with a passion and will gladly leg it at 100mph to get away from them
although my irrational fear is balloons, don't ask me why, not sure if one banged in my face when i was little or what but the sound of them is to me like nails on a chalk board

I thought you were born in the jungle, matt? They don't allow monkeys in the hospitals where I live.

Apparently my mum was allowed but only if she signed a waiver first allowing Rolf Harris and a camera crew to do a running commentary...........

I had a big fear for spiders, but i learnt to face my fears with getting a pet Spider in a tank, and put him in my kitchen, at first i couldnt even look at it, now i feed him and clean him out. I still have yet to hold him, but im sure that will come when im ready.
It is very true that if you do face your fears it gets a lot easier, sometimes we have to come out of are comfort zone and fight the fears.

I got one for you squirmish blondes.
I was born with a lazy eye and a squint (eye turned in or out). I had an operation (when i was young) to have this corrected so it looks normal, however sight is about 10% of what it should be. Anyway, my eye started to turn in again a couple of years ago and i started to look cock eyed. I needed it correcting again.
The correction procedure involves cutting all the muscles off attached to your eyeball, recentering your eye and then stitching the muscles back to the eye in the correct place. These stitches are left loose as they have have to be tightened, once the position is confirmed and you area wake. 90% of this is done while you are asleep, however the last 10% has to be done with you awake and conscious, so that they can ensure it naturally centres etc.
My eye was slightly over corrected so they needed to put a stitch in to pull it back to normal. You can't feel anything painful, as they numb your eye, however the implement they use to get this stitch in is like a mini sickle. This sickle comes towards your eye, while the surgeon is saying "don't blink" FFS. You can feel the stitch go in (but no pain) and then they tighten all the stitches up around your eye in a set sequence.

The more often you put yourself in this situation, the less scared you'll be of getting bull raped.
You need to face this fear head on. May I suggest you go to RoyalFlush's house in Brighton.

My irrational fear is slightly odd; but I have a phobia of Escalators. They strike the fear of God in to me. I can’t explain it, & no one has been ever able to.
When I lived & worked in London, it was a real problem. I still break in to a sweat just thinking of the time I had to go up the Escalator at The Angel (I think it’s the deepest in the Tube system), I was a sad whimpering wreck by the time I reached the top
I had to plan my route around the Tube system to stations that had lifts or were at ground level, happily for me my regular stations were South Ken & Farringdon Road.
Luckily it’s a phobia I don’t have to face everyday, but strangely even if I see an escalator on TV it’ll send a cold shiver down my spine.
