Dave Colclough's had his rebuy.

He didn't seem too keen to go into detail, he simply said, 'I played it badly'.

Chubbs has just taken down a huuuuuugeeee pot, which is good because he just had got his second chance chips the hand previously.

The board read  three diamonds when R Garfield moved all-in for his shortish stack, Big Dave Smith called before Simon set him all-in.

Chubbs:

Garfield:

Big Dave:

Turn:  two hearts

River:

And Chubbs scoops a big 15k pot, forcing Dave and Garfield to take their second chances.

This Stepen Pearce has to be seen to be believed.

With 3.5k in the pot and a board of , Pearce moves all in for 6k.

Decision to Samson.

Now, here are some of the lines Pearce came up with...

"What do I have to do to get you to call?"
"I think he's folding, everyone."
"I'm happy to take what's currently in the pot"
"Go on call, you might be winning"

Well, it worked, Dan called and Stephen quickly slammed down his cards and announced "NUTS!"

"Have you got any outs," asked Pearce.
Samson shakes his head.
"Okay, give me the money, next hand."

The table really love this chap. (ahem)

This must have looked quite suspect from a far. I promise, I really don't make a habit of taking snaps of mens' crotches.

Anyhow, this is Marc Goodwin's latest accessory.

I've managed to prise some stories from Dave.

First lot went when he turned a flush from the big blind with J-7 diamonds. Unfortunately, he was outflushed.

Also, he claims to have made one of his worst passes of the year. On a King high board, Jim Reid talked him 'Stephen Pearce stylee' into passing K-Q.

still, the blonde one's still pluggin away.

I think the face says it all though. The curse of Table 7 - Seat 4 perhaps?

Hey all, Mad Turk is onto his 2nd set of chips, the first set went to Mulla sitting next him after Mad Turk moved all in on a  flop. Mulla called with  which was ahead of Mad Turk's  , no flush came and another cry of "Chips" came.

Double up for the ol' fella!!

tikay raised 350 underthegun with pocket bullets (I saw! I saw!)

But.... 4 (?!?!?) callers!!

Flop came three diamonds

tikay bets out... 725

Paul Jackson calls immediately.

Turn = three clubs

Paul then bets 1k out of turn... intentionally.

They let it go... tikay calls, after hamming it up.

Then his last 1.2k goes in on the river.

Paul proudly announces 'full house'

boy, tikay enjoyed showing his hand.

A few chip counts from the upper tier of tables.

Thewy of Thew Towers = 33k (Called an all-in from AQ with AK, the flop comes 89TJ with the inevitable Q on the river)
Jeff Buffenburger (lovely guy) = 12k
Red Dog = 16.5k, still to take his extra 7.5k
Mulla = 36k or possibly more, he has a huge stack of purples and greens and already three of the magic gold chips too.
