Welcome back to Walsall folks. Since we're now down to four tables, there's enough for Snoops and myself to snugly fit inside the cardroom today rather than be on the cusp. In fact Snoopy says, "there's enough room to swing a cat."

The poker players are being asked to make their way to the cardroom so we shall be beginning very shortly.

First off, I'd just like to say that I don't advocate cat-swinging. Don't do it kids, no good can come of it.

Secondly, here are a few piccies to set the scene pre-final.

The first is of the empty tables, eagerly awaiting the remaining 38 players. (pretty exciting, huh?!)

The second is our workstation, which is strangely more spacious than anything I've been accustomed to before.

Finally, the third snap is of Buzz Lightyear's healthy 121k stack, which he pretty much won in one scoop midway through last night.

Here's a picture of Red and Malcolm during the calm before the storm. I'll get a copy of the pay-out structure shortly. They're racing for the 100 chips at the moment meaning that soon, all the chippy counts that me and snoopy did last night will be hideously out of date. Such is life.

And here's you chip leader Iwan Jones with the biggest stack he'll see at this stage for a long time to come. Unfortunately, most of them are due to the chip race that just took place.

Anyhow, the voice from above announces 'SHUFFLE UP AND DEAL" and we're off.

And we're a man down already.

L Hirons is out.

Rudders raised 10.5k preflop with A-Q, Hirons called with pocket tens, after long deliberation.

But being so short-stacked he felt he had to make the call.

Coin-flip, but Hirons received the worst of it when a Queen hit the flop.

His final reasoning was that he probably wouldn't get a hand much better than that and would potentially be blinded away, so made the call.

And that first exit puts Richard Rudling-Smith up to 31k.

"That's more hands than I played in five hours of play yesterday", he chirped.

On a   board, Rob Yong bets 5k into a 20k+ pot against Stu Rutter, Rutter eventually calls, the Yongsta shows   which is good... I think stuart had two pair on the flop or something....

Elsewhere O Ayegun is OUT, he moved with   , Iwan Jones held   but Martino Libertini had   which took a big pot.
