Thanks Tonji!

Dave has around 35k and that impenetrable image which is so unnerving sometimes... he just put the lovely Vanessa Rousso in a bit of a pickle when she raised to 1,500 in late position, and he re-raised another 2,300 from the small blind (blinds 300/600 ante 50).  She had about 8,500 in total left, and decided after a while to flat call.
Flop: two hearts three clubs.  Immediately El Blondie bet out a stack-covering 10k, and she passed, her frustration showing as she exclaimed, "Why can't you put an Ace or a King out there - God!"

Double up for Elky with vs - a seven on the club-heavy flop let him breathe more easily, and he now has 14k or so.

Other counts:

Padraig Parkinson    20,300
John Gale              35,000
Surinder                47,000
Freddy Deeb          OUT
Matt Tyler             22,000
Anders Berg          28,000
Joe Beevers          29,000
John Duthie          52,000
Ramzi Jelassi          43,400

Err, how about Ram Vaswani?  He's still in good chip shape but appears to have his attention easily distracted Smiley

Or neighbours Willie Tann and Ramzi?  (although not sure either of them would thank me for suggesting they might be 'totty')  Cheesy

OK let me level with you - I haven't taken any photos since the first 15 minutes of the comp - but I'm just about to do another tour.  Snoopy is recovering from the foodless journey, and there's a wonderful rumour he may be bringing me pain au chocolat back in a sneaky manner...

We're actually at a *****************************break*************************** right now, so back in 15 mins with more of the glimpsed-over-someone's-shoulder action!

wish julian good luck for me please

Oooh, bok alert - Julian has just this moment gone -

After valiantly battling the hours of bad cards with patience, Julian found himself in much the same situation today.  After he was pushed away with preflop re-raises a couple of times, he had 8,000 and decided to "stop the rot" by moving in on the button with when it folded to him.

Unfortunately one of the blinds called with his instead of letting him pick up the antes like he was hoping, and his run is over early this afternoon.  Slow couple of days for YoYo - but it happens sometimes.  At least it's glorious outside...

OOPS dont tell him i bokked him  scared

Hi Jen, I'm back in cloudy & grey London, missing you & Paris already.

Thank you for looking after me so well, booking my Eurostar & Hotel, & letting me whop you at our Late Night Heads-Up Session. (I beat her 3-2!).

As for sloppy, well, we won our bet - he was "no offers" to get lost. What a twonk. Though Jen & I BOTH lost our way from the Hotel to the Aviation yesterday - & it was ony 300 yards!

We have just finished 425, & I have a meet next, then over to do PNL, &, at long last, I get to go home first thing Thursday morning & meet the cat.

Thanks again Jen, you are a star, & I really enjoyed my brief return to Updating.

Good Luck to all the remaiing blondes, get the job done guys!

Sorry Ladies, must go and pay attention to the cards and chips and stuff now - but I'll leave you with Men In Black Jim Kerrigan and Joe Beevers playing posealike:
