I've been here at least 10 minutes and this guy hasn't made a murmur, in fact, he's barely moved a muscle.

I'm starting to suspect that he's a waxwork brought in to promote the event.

If that's true though, he's somehow managed to surpass the 100k mark, which isn't bad at this stage.

Most poker players are big, bald, and sweaty.

Then there's this lass.

Hi guys, is Sarah Bilney still in, picture would be nice!

Met her at Oxford student tourny, nice as pie off the table, bit spicky in the game.

By the way she came 63rd in the WSOP main event in 2005, for $145,000.

It's quality, not quantity, but this guy seems to have both.

Top marks for tower size, only surpassed by Hellmuth I believe.

Here are Bob Cherrett (left) who, in one of those great photographic accidents, looks like he's crowned with the chandelier, and next to him young Edward Rhee.

Rhee recently eliminated Roland de Wolfe, who'd been rather mercilessly raising his blind, but who was also pretty short stacked.  Roland moved in for 9k, and Edward found in the blind - decided to go for it - ran into but flopped the Nine!

Hi, Jen. Is there any chance of a chip count for Tony "Rockfish" Mackay or Jim "Man in Black" Kerrigan?

No sign of Tony,  but Jim Kerrigan doubled up during this last level with against the then chip leader's As , spiking a Jack for good measure.

Just now, though, he called a raise from Johan Storakers with only to find the button pushing in for 13,275.  Johan called, and Jim passed - then Johan said "I think you're bluffing" and turned over - unfortunately for him his opponent had and it stayed good.

And now time for a more dignified pic of Mr. Cherrett, who qualified online in one of those million-player, one-seat freerolls!  He says himself he's a 'novice' but it looks like he's holding his own here in the WPT... incidentally, sat next to Anders Berg, who looks twitchy in this photo, but actually isn't.

Good news blonde fans!

They've just raced off the green 25 chips and El Blondie was dealt the scooping him a rather tasty black 100 chips.

Release the baloons!!!

Thanks for all the updates, great stuff. Any idea how many players left overall now? And please keep the news on Rory Mathews coming!
