Ivory coast are extremely underated.
Just look at the result today - how good did argentina look. Ivory coast on the other hand, even though they lost by the one goal, had the argies on the back foot for a good part of the match.
If the odds are good enough, I'm gonna take a punt on them to shock holland.

you now see Aaron, what we have seen all along, the biggest problem England have is the manager and his lack of any technical awareness, you also need a captain on the park who can run things when the game is on, Beckham has no idea, give the job to Gerrard he's the only one with the passion and the technical ability.
If you dont change it you might as well come home, take a few risks and play an open attacking game, which suits the players and the english game -good luck.

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k. “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi. Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

I believe Gerrard should be the captain aswell, Beckham has great workrate and always gives 100%, Gerrard though has that prescence, he would be my captain.
I don't think Sven is lacking in anything, he cant have got to where he is now without being top class. Anyone who has managed a Serie A club has great tactical awareness.

Point taken, he needs to change his strategy then, coz the one he's using now aint working,

Agreed with the first point. I wouldn't mind John Terry either.
I know several Serie A managers who have been tactically inept. Ok so Sven won the league with Lazio. Dalglish won our league with Blackburn under similar circumstances (a shitload of money), doesn't mean he's tactically aware though.
Keegan almost won it with Newcastle and was England manager, the guy still doesn't know what the word defence means!

Ok i should rephrase that, TOP Serie A manager, to say he won it through money alone is silly, when he won it the top 4 teams in Europe all played in that league.

True.
His tactics are one dimensional though. (For England at least)
I'd prefer a O'Niell/Scolari/Hiddink type manager who always gets the best out of what are sometimes average teams.

Dont be so silly - the only person with such passion and leadership qualities that can captain the team is John Terry.. he is the one who won us the match against T & T, and the one who would die for the cause. JOHN TERRY FOR CAPTAIN!

I agree he is not the best, it always seems to me with England no matter who manages them they still always go for the long ball! With Englands midfield thats just stupid!
