My mate is on his 2nd MX-5 now - great car, fun and economical, i'm sure you'll love it. It's a much better car than the BMW Z3.
I had rather a lot of fun "driving" the first one round an airfield (hired specifically for that purpose, under the supervision of an experienced instructor), I had to stop because the tyres were smoking so much I couldn't actually see anything!

On a side note, I bought my car from auctions - ex-lease, low mileage etc etc., when I went to get the keys for it all there was was one key - no credit card thingymajig to go with it. I rang my local Pug dealers and they said it would cost me approx. £150 to get a new key card and key for the car. Does anyone know a cheaper way of getting another key for it? If I lose the one I have I'm basically f**ked.
