Hi,
My daughter wants a new laptop which im going to get.
She really wants a Apple Mac (one of the small ones) but im unsure wether they will work on my wireless network which i already have 2x pc Laptops and a desktop.
Does any one on here use one of these?

Any advice on Apple Macs muchly appreciated.

Should not be a problem but be wary of joining the lunatic fringe, the battle against Windows has long been lost.

The apple will work without problem, they are great machines and have fewer problems than pc's, they are very user friendly, and its a great grounding for kids to start using computers.

I have a mac for my kids, they love it.

I use an iMac at work, and the learning curve is rather steep until you stop trying to think, then it's easy Smiley

You should have no issue with a mac, it will find the network, tell you you look very cool and probably try and redecorate your room in designer colours, all within about 20 mins of you opening the box up.

I don't really think people have PC problems anymore, when apple was doing ok it was because of the constant headaches pc's gave but they are so reliable these days!

Well your right, just got the MacBook and its up and running, everything seems really polished compared to Windows.
Thanks for all your advice!
