thinking of stepping up a level

Hi all I am thinking of stepping upto another level or two, And there is a couple questions i would like to ask you all.
1. I currently play a lot of 5-20 re-buy events where you get a lot of newbies and people with a larger bankroll so as you all know you get out drawen a lot. so first off do you get a lot of people still willing to buy-in 10times + still or is it a bit more solid?
2. I am thinking of going to a couple of festivals what is the quality like after moving up say from a 20 tournie?
3. the reason I am thinking of moving up is. i seem to be making a lot of final tables and have shown a decent profit for this year alone. i accept its going to cost me more and i will proberly not make as many final tables but think the bigger pay days will counter act this. Would you say this is a good reason to have a pop at the next level? (plus i know moving up is only going to make my game better)
4. how have all you guys found the transition of moving up like?

Good question Adam, I'd be thinking of playing more expensive games in frustration at the 5 rebuy no-limit scenario. BUT - I know I'm maybe OK for entry + 1 maybe 2 rebuy/topup... if I was to get the same situation as on the 5 tables I'd be pissed off.

The best thing to do is try to only play higher stake Freezeouts, ie 30-50 freezeouts.
Rod, if we get fired into the Cincinnati club, we could start to influence the tourneys as Sid mentioned, giving the players what they want.

Spoke to Sid last night - if we can get 30 to turn up he'll put on a 15/20 double freezeout, with dealers..... I'll put some thought to it, find the structure from Notts that seemed popular here & write it all down for him, then put details here & on the other forum.
It's a chance to get the games WE want instead of the Rebuy-fever that is poker in Glasgow.
PS Sorry 4dam - a wee digression off-topic, but it's along the same lines - how do I get away from the crap-shoot that is the 5 rebuy.

Good Rod, i like it.
Did you see Teacakes post on our board? Regarding some of the other boys from the Shotts poker open wanting to meet up again soon to have another game with us 4.
Im sure we could get 30 boys from there, and also a few from Blonde in and around Glasgow (sshhhh don'y tell RFC, or he might want to attend)

I'd be prepared to travel further if I was able to play more freezeout tournaments, the only ones they have at Walsall now are the the 20 speed poker nights at 1am

dave why you keep changing your name?
ha ha sorry lads.
i Firstly added (TPT No.1) to the end of it as a whined up to teacake who is kind of my nemesis on the poker tables inc home games!
I then changed it to River Dave! - due to what happened at saturday nights "shotts poker open"! - Lets just say patman wasn't happy about Not one , nor two but Three out draws in a row, i had against him, all of them hitting me on that Beautiful Card Known as 'The River'. to Quadriple through and go on to take Second prize.
Sorry again Pat!
I havent been called anything else but River Dave since that night!
theres yer answer,
PS i promise not to change it again lads
PPS, please don't mistake me for any of the two river daves on Betfair poker (RiverDave + riverdave) My alias on betfair is 'daviebhoy'

Dave 'The Mouth' McGilp would be more appropriate.
Or maybe Fisher Dave, as he is always looking for a bite.
