I've got the Aussies to win by two goals at 33-1! Clicked the wrong box on Paddy Power and resigned myself to the fact that if I corrected it it would come rolling in.

i'm with you tighty. not sure why but i think they will score 1st and i can't see the italians getting a goal even though they have doubled their chances by dropping that twonk Totti.

1-0 to italy, its nailed on ... you just know they will score and then shut up shop .... Aussies dont have the ability to unlock the italian defence.

they are without their best defender Kev which gives them a chance.

Taking a striker off in a 0-0 situation where you are unlikely to win is retarded. If it does go to penalties what are you going to do? If it isn't going to be a draw you need to score as a mandown - how is a midfielder/defender going to do that? Looks like Italy are going to try and take it to penalties and hope Australia fluff it.

Totti and Del Piero took a wrong turn and ended up in the football stadium instead of an olympic pool.

Italians defended terrifically
Wanted the Aussies to go for it more but thought Hiddink thought he'd win it in ET
Lucas Neill a revelation this tournament compared to the snarling fouling machine at Blackburn. Tough on him
