Another dodgy sending off?

It was a horrible sending off decision..Zambrotta was right beside the attacker as a covering defender!

I hate the Italians fans...(bad experience at the San Siro!)

That for me is a classic case of cheating... but I guess that is the game today, at least on this, and european, level

Almsot as bad as pulling a players hair so you can head the ball instead of him!!

Australia never really looked like they would score. Italy should have been a couple up at half time.

The red card was a joke.

Rooky,

You're are a great bloke and your post's are usually of a high standard.

But the above statement is not wanted on this forum.

Having read back it may be a little too generalised and i will edit it(though the quotes can still have it for the record if you so wish)... however if you have ever been in genuine fear for your own safety you would know where i was coming form.

We were subject to disgraceful treatment from both the fans above and the riot police.. if it had happen in england we would have been all over the world as hooligans - what did they get..,. a 50k fine.

(I've edited the quote in line with Nemesis...TE)

I understand why you are upset, but you hit the nail on the head about generalising.

I'm going to delete my quote.

Penalty debatable but if Neil had stood up there would have been no penalty. It is a cruel way to go though.

It was a cruel way, and I wanted the Aussies to go through because I have them in my sweepstake. But it was a definite penalty.

Surely that wasn't a penalty?   I hate play acting like that.   I feel bad for Australia

The defender shouldn't have went to ground.

The defender was lying down in the way! Whats the attacking player supposed to do, put in a cape and fly over him?
