So whats the common opinion on this game?
England havn't played well so far but 1st game: heat killed them, trinidad and tobago always had 10 men behind the ball in defence and sweden were fired up for the game.
Ecuador we played a retarded formation with one striker and an ill midfielder.
Typically we underperform but we've had at least some semblance of reasons so far.
Portugal have beaten Mexico, Angola, Iran and Holland ( I'm still not convinced that was a football game ).
They looked good vs Holland but Holland was asleep until they had a man sent off.
Portugal will be without Costinha and Deco for the game however, along with a possibly still injured Ronaldho.
That said, I think 2-1 portugal or 1-1 ->extra time.

3-1 to England .... Gerrard (2), Beckham. England score early with a Beckham corner thats headed out to Gerrard who rifles in a shot from just outside the box. 1-0 at half time Second half... and within 10 minutes Gerrard scores Englands 2nd following a neat build up ending with him connecting with a clever pass from Rooney and slotting the ball low into the net from about 8 yards. Portugal then begin to push hard and get a goal back from a free kick that is headed in ..... last 10 minutes and england get a free kick .... Beckham strikes it and it is blocked by the wall... after a bit of scrapping, the ball comes back to Beckham and he curls a beauty into the left hand top corner of the net. Dont say I never told ya  |

I still think England have been mostly rubbish so far and we're going to need to improve to beat Portugal, even if they are playing with 5 men :p
