Can someone explain this to me.

Argentina are a shorter price than Germany to win the world cup. Yet tomorrow, Germany are the faves to go through!

Also Germany are favoured over Italy, however in the "top european team" Italy are fancied to go further than Germany.

Please someone help me out here!

Perhaps they feel that although Argentina are dogs to Germany, if they win they can better capitalize on the momentum.

Or maybe they feel that they have more chance of beating Brazil (or England  ) in a rock/paper scissors kinda thing.

AK is a favourite over J10s
J10s is a favourite over 22
22 is a favourite over AK

Any way to eek out arb out of all this strangeness?

This happens on BF as it's down to people to offer their own odds.

Can't really see any proper arbs in all this however, if you don't mind a small risk in saying that Ukraine or Potugal will not win the WC, then you can back S.America as the winning Federation and also back Germany, Italy, France and England to win the world cup and make a few pounds.  It's a bit of a gamble though as if the other two do go on to win,then it's a big loss.

Doing all that, would it not be simpler to just lay Ukraine and Portugal?

Or does your way give a better price.
