The real value here is to stand by the table with Paul Parker & Ali Mallu.

Paul is in full flow, Ali is playing "blind", & the only other surviving player is struggling to comprehend what's going off between those two.

And Paul King wins his table.

A-5 v A-9

A-5 makes 2 pair.

This is one of the two remaining Pool Two tables.

The fellow on the left is David Chavda, who I believe I went to school with. Small world, huh?

Table 7 of Pool 2 is over.

Mark Emberson emerges as the winner, seeing off Adian Shallicker heads up.

Final hand = A-T v Q-2 suited.

Ace on flop.

It's a tad "rough" in this part of Bolton, & the football mob are still on the rampge it seems.

Paul Parker just said to me" I'm a bit worried about walking back to the hotel. Those Portugese have a bit of a tan, these guys might think I'm Portugese".

He really is one of my favourite players.

Burnley John is OUT.

Moved his shortstack in with K-5, only to run into Rutter's A-8.

No help.

3 remaining on the so called 'Table of Death' (dumdumdaaaaaaaaaaaaaa - be afraid, very afraid!) table:

Wernick
Rutter
Ariston

Paul Parker is OUT, busted by Ali Mallu.

Ali had started his R, R, R routine, Paul found the very pretty  , & all the chips went in.

Ali turned over

"Fancy a saver?" says Paul, on the  three clubs flop..........

Ali Mallu wins Table 5.

His final battle was with John Farnworth, which saw his K-T fend off John's A-2 (2 on flop, but King on turn)

The whole of Table 5 has been Mallued!

Ariston, down to about 5k, moves in with

Not much of a decision for Lord Wernick, who quickly called with  .

Hands were shook warmly, but Micky must have been odds-on from the start of the table, he's a seriously astute pokerist, far better than he's generally perceived as.

But fair play to Ariston, he showed great patience & backbone, but the skills of Micky were just too much for him in the end, combined with, maybe, just not quite having the rub of the green.

Lawrence Gosney is OUT.

Jason 'Tractor' Oliver is still going strong on the same table.

He still has 3 others to beat though.
