Rooney stamped on the defenders testicles, a definite red card.
However, the ref NEVER SAW the stamp, instead, he sent Rooney off for PUSHING Ronaldo.
That is what will be in his report.
Agreed - the ref was taking no action until the push, the replays showed this.
I've already heard from 3 United fans giving abuse about Ronaldo.
Errrr how can the replays show what the ref was going to do in the future
He blew up, didn't move, pointed the direction on play and froze. Then there was the push, then he blew up again, called Rooney over and sent him off. The BBC pundits ponted it out. Seems pretty obvious to me.

Well I think so as the push was nothing worse than you might see in the box before a corner.

terrible by ronaldo, very naughty.
I think that the nature of the tournament is bringing out the worst in players.
T. Henry plays in arguably the most physical league in Europe but Ive always liked the guy for the decorum and professionallity he shows on the pitch, he never usually makes a meal of a challenge, doesn't try to get people booked and handles himself very well but even he's at it, falling about pretending to get knocked in the face when he clearly didn't, really disappointing.

Rooney wasn't even looking at Carvalaho, it was an accident and did you see the little shite winking at his team mates after the event?

Sorry to bring this up but anyone remember Arsenal's 49 games unbeaten? Remember the 50th game at Old Trafford?
Rooney dives over Campbell's leg, Nistlerooy scores the pen, Arsenal lose and Sol wont shake Rooney's hand.
What goes around....

I wonder where Ronaldo will end up next season. Should be amusing if he stays in England. I'd love it if Real said they didn't want him anymore

Agreed! Remember what Becks got for his red in 98? This will be even worse!

Hopefully it wont have the same effect on Ronny though. Don't want him developing into a top role model, one of the best players in the world and future national captain
