Matt Tyler, who is still playing the £100 consolation comp, has a mobile phone, a lucky pebble, and a black bag sitting in front of him. Jokingly, I asked which item the bag was meant to hold (secretly knowing that it was his phone... even though it turned out to be his sunglasses). Little did I know, however, he DOES have a bag for his lucky bag, and it's exactly the same as the one for his sunglasses.

Is this a normal thing? Does anyone else have a bag for their lucky charm. Maybe I need to pruchase Charlie one, perhaps that's why she's been so unkind to me recently.

Lee Edwards raises to 12k from the small blind.

Brian Medley moves all-in from the big blind for an extra 50k.

Edwards folds.

Meanwhile, mayhem on the £50 cash table.

6 way all-in, blind!

Mickey Wernick and Brian Medley see a flop of Two Diamonds

Brian bets 10k, Mickey calls.

Turn =

Brian moves all-in, Mickey folds.

Mickey shows Q-6

Brian exposes A-9

There's a cash game going on across the room.

This is one of the players. Can anyone unscramble it? He;s a well known blondeite.

Brian Medley limps on the button.

Mickey Wernick makes it 26 from the small blind.

Paul King folds the big.

Brian flat calls.

Flop =

Both check.

Turn -

Mickey bets 15k, Brian checks.

IMO, as soon as Brian checks the flop, Mickey must know he can take it on the turn, hand or no hand. Brian likes to limp a lot and call raises wit hands like K-Q, J-T, 7-7, etc

If he hits, then Brian tends to move it as he did with the K-Q against Read's A-K earlier on. He doesn't seem to be a trapper.

So, with a check on the flop, Mickey must know, from that flop, that Brian is unlikley to have a pair. The nine of diamonds is unlikely to have made a difference unless Brian has A-9, so a bet seems like the wise option for Mickey.

Personally, I reckon Brian had something like A-6.
