This Festival may compliment the £1000 star city event on the 7th if people wish to stay in the city for a few days.

We are an independent casino, If some of you remember the "old" Rubicons e.g. Coventry, Northamton, Wolverhampton These were owned by Monte Shine. The Broadway and the Shaftesbury are owned by his son Martin Shine. If you old timers remember the "old" Rubicons then you will remember they were very poker orientated. We are situated about 400meters from the Rainbow Casino.

Mr. Moves the £1000 chip structure will be 10,000pts on an hour clock
                     £500 (+1 rebuy) will be 5000pts(10,000) on an hour clock
                     £300 (+1 rebuy) will be 3000pts(6,000) on an hour clock
                     £100(+1 rebuy) will be 2000pts(4000) on a 30/45 min clock

If the mini fest works well the next festival will go massive! Advertising wise we are mainly doing it word of mouth. As I believe in the poker community the fire spreads quick. Therefore we rely on good service and facilities. Let the poker players advertise it themselves and if we do not deliver then its our own fault.
BTW we will never charge registration fees whilst I am in charge of the card room, I think its a disgrace to make the players pay, as the whole idea is to bring customers in!! And we supply dealers for ALL games.

Don't forget, there is free parking here aswell.  The casino picks up the tab for the underground carpark, which seems very secure to me.  Looking forward to my next visit already.

Are there any plans for a weekly freezeout?  £100 or £200 freeze would be very tempting indeed

Yes there are plans to go 7 nights with 2 freezeouts £100 on a Thursday and £50 on a saturday. This won't be till after September though. Lets get the festival out of the way and we'll go from there. All depends on the amount of staff we have at the end of September. As I will only have comps where I can supply dealers, this is the reason why we only have 4 a week at the moment. One of these freeze outs may be a shoot out comp.

Regarding parking it is the safest car park in the Midlands and 2nd safest in the UK.

Is it likely to sell out? I am ouit of the UK most of next week, but back Friday night, & really do fancy playing this.

Hopefully it will sell out, but I am not holding my breath, I realistically am looking at 60-80. To be honest I have had loads of interest in it, but only a few have dug up the £1k we are taking registration now at cash desk, card room or by cheque(as long as it is recieved before 1st Sept).
I really do hope it is a success as next year will be fantastic. But I can't tell just at mo. Although people who have been here think it is the best venue around!! Judge for yourself!!!
