Minimum posts wouldn't really work as the forum would just be full or total drivel with people bumping their post counts.[/color]

That's the game I've been playing a fair long while now.

There is no such thing as "real" and "unreal" (?) blondes.....first come first served is the fairest way

We don't discriminate as to post count!

However I agree (with Flushy, off to lie down) it is to be welcomed if everyone new wanting to attend tells us about themselves first both, as i believe that the social side of these events is what makes them and if we know you, the new poster, beforehand we have a headstart and so do you!

I plead guilty with mitigation.

I found this place via a friend who mentioned the forum so I had a look down and fancied it, not withstanding the fact that I've never played live before and it puts the fear of god into me Shocked.

I was in a tournament on when I joined and signed up for the bash, and filled in the introduction 'questionnaire' as I was playing. Trying to play poker and think up something remotely interesting about myself was one hell of a challenge! I managed it...only to find out that I lost the post. Then I realised the default settings were to log me out after an hour - now altered thankfully! I should have followed my own advice and done it in Word and pasted it in, but hey...you live and learn.

I will post in the introduction thread as soon as possible, but this is the first time I've been back since then and just wanted to set the record straight. I know it's kind of off topic in here, but I can understand your frustrations entirely.

For better or worse (so far as you're concerned Cheesy) I plan to be around for a long time. Great site

Whilst we're still off topic, thought I'd throw in a suggestion.  The General Discussion board is pretty busy with traffic and might seem a bit daunting to a new member.  At a forum I used to be a member and moderator of we had a separate board for 'new members' (a child board of the 'main discussion' board) solely for the purpose of new members to introduce themselves, ask questions etc.  Might be a good idea?
