Been really struggling with this one for the past few days..niggling away at me...all advice good/adverse v welcome

Cant locate the hand history but you/I have just arrived at the FT in a 25k mtt

chips stacks as follows

player 1 95k
player 2 34k
player 3 40k
player 4 44k
you/I     86k
player 6 50k
player 7 15k
player 8 70k
player 9 16k
player10 120k

1st pays over 6k..10th $375

blinds are 2k/4k

player 1 is on the button  and u r dealt  ...player 4 folds and you/i raise up to 15k....players 5,6,7 fold...player 8 goes all in.....9,10,sb and BB fold...so u r HU for the bulk of ur chips...you have zero info on this player having not seen him until the FT.....

wot now???

I don't see a decision really, all in and hope hasn't got AA and doesn't outdraw you if he hasn't.

yeah...you want an all in re-raise by someone else when you're holding kings...(atleast I do). he could have Aces and then you'd be somewhat unlucky (assuming you don't fluke anything) but everything else you've got beat....

even Rocks reraise all in with Queens so I don't really care how long I've been platying with someone...this is a call very time.

ok so he turns over

u know the rest.......50p

i reckon i was a 5 to 2 favourite preflop..not to be..and i crashed out in 10th place  (didnt survive the ensuing blinds)

hindsight is a great thing, but I was just checking with you guys if i should have got involved with any hand at all at this stage and could have even sat out ( lol )....but the concensus is i done the right thing....heck ..if i aint playing this im as good as folding AA preflop..and going to bed hoping i wake up a rich man

cheers for the comments

I'm not good enough to be folding KK at any stage of a tourney pre-flop.

If the guy has Aces then fair play.  80/20 against any random hand.

The only thing worse is if you hold up to the River it seems like a piss take when that A hits!
