Eeeeeek

The only tables we can see properly are gradually evaporating. Only 1 left.

hopefully, the lack of tables near the rail will result in the crowd dispersing.

Kinda annoys me that we can't get in and around the tables, especially when I see the likes of Noah Boeken and David William's mum roaming around aimlessly.

As Hellmuth informs the table that he is going to win the comp, Juanda cowers away from the flying pig.

$2,500

Right - mini-update from the Short Handed Hold'em, which has lost so many players, by HORSE standards in the last hour or so.  In fact it's a bit of a shock to have seen the tables drop so quickly when we're used to one elimination, on average, every hour.

Some counts from that tourney (which has 22 tables remaining)

Richard Ashby     13,900
Juha Helppi         15,050
Simon Trumper    6,900
Tony (charming relative of Joe) Hachem)  5,900  (just knocked to 3k with an A2 outdraw against his AJ)
Harry Demetriou   29,000
Phil Gordon          6,200
Joe Beevers         13,000

Pictured are Simon and neighbour Tony - Simon says he's been 'struggling' but has raised his 1,900 to nearly 7k and feels much better after his last tournament's last-hand-before-dinner bust.

All the coffee in the world in this giant urn thing in the middle of the room.  But I have to say that the biggest sugar rush I've been on this month has to have come from Fruit Punch flavour Snapple, which lists "high fructose corn syrup" as its second ingredient!

Funny reports apparently abound about Joe Beevers, according to the man himself, who would like to stress that any rumours of his $2,500 exit have been elsewhere greatly exaggerated - nor was he a participant in the Omaha Hi-Lo a few days ago (being still in the UK).  He just wanted to keep the record of the (few) British players straight...

They've just completed a 10 min break in which I managed to obtain a few chippy counts:

Mike Sexton -- 85k
Gus Hanson -- 30k
Jon Hennighan -- 60k
Blair Rodman -- 133k
Phil Hellmuth -- 1.5k
Jennifer Harman -- 115k
Annie Duke -- 88k

Greg Raymer is OUT.

Eliminated by Jo Cassidy.

The game was Limit Hold 'Em and Greg held Q-Q to Cassidy's Q-8.

The board was J-9-rag

Raymer bet every street, eventually hitting the curb when the 10 River gave the youngster a four-outer straight.
