re: the bubble - it's less than 2 * the buyin, so surely not that big?

As I said earlier, mixed games with a NLHE final have been around a while and people seemed to like them then.

And the unlucky bubble was.....Matt Hawrilenko - Snoops was closer to the action than I was, and may fill you in on Andy Bloch's removal of the 17th place finisher.

And they're carrying on.... 16, in the money, and counting...

Interesting to see that probably the four biggest names in "the Big Game" - Doyle, Barry, Phil & Chip all made the money. - I guess they may have played these games before.

And then there were 15.

The shortest stack and wonderfully named, Congo Do, just had to Do the Congo out of here after he was eliminated by David Singer.

Surely some of you must be wondering if anyone's suggested calling it a day (or a day and a half) now, and coming back with two tables "tomorrow" - well, there was a strong advocate for that in TJ Cloutier, but Gavin Smith rather loudly said, "No!" and that was that - although I have a feeling the rest of them may have gone with it.

As a kind of parallel anecdote, a lady watching the final two offered to get Doyle Brunson a drink - "Would you like some decaf coffee?" to which he replied, "Decaf?"

You know, my eyes have gone so blurry that if they started playing Irish, Pineapple, Chinese, Paduki, and Brag I don't think I'd notice - even if they announced it as IPCPB

Stud High

Andy Bloch loses a 200k pot Tomko.

Winning hand was for a full house, sixes over jacks.

They originally pencilled in 6-8pm

It's okay for us young guns here to moan, but what about Doyle?! Incredible stamina.
