Hi There
OK, my other half was in a Pot Limit Omaha Tourney on WH tonight, small tourney 34 runners, 5 places paid, I log on to se how he is doing and all hell has broken loose, 4 players in, a player just gone out and small sitting out stack still in; precis of problem:
"his argument was that with someone short stacked sitting out, and another player with a small stack, the large stack players should fold/check, so as to allow the non-sitting out shorrt stack to make it to the money ahead of the sitting out player"
So my other half gets into hand, end result is he has a house against player, and knocks him out, and then mr sitting out gets 5th place, and cash, and mr player was well miffed, and was saying that it is an unwritten law of tournament play that sitters out should get blinded out.
Loads of arguments, threats to knees, challenges to go play in a cash room, lots of testosterone, and general nastiness.
I think thats tantamount to soft play myself, or have I hit a raw nerve? He kept spouting that it wouldn't happen live, but live is very diff from online as we all know
Is everyone following? Sorry if I haven't explained it well, but I wouldn't mind a few opinions.
Sorry if I have made a pig's ear of this post
