I've just checked - it is indeed £100 for a two night stay room only, £120 B+B and £140 B+B+dinner.

I think I'm going to give them a ring and see if I can cancel and rebook on the internet!

Humph.  Just called and asked to be put through to reservations - certainly.  Transfers me and I get a message saying they are shut for the night and ring back tomorrow.

I must say it seems like they're trying to pull a bit of a fast one here, and this 'deal' isn't really much of a 'deal' at all!

They have a habit pulling of it.  Might be the nicest hotel in the area, but their idea of 'group discount' has been warped in the past too.  It also makes the organisers feel a bit let down (well, that's how I felt anyway).  Pity they don't have more appreciation for groups, but it'll bite them in the long run.  If you're not happy with the rate, best bet is to try the internet rate, but be warned...when they cop on to it, they'll up those prices too.

Just had another look, it's 100 for 2 nights or 80 for a single night.

don't know why we're all getting different rates coming up!  Are you going through the motions as if you are going to book Mikky?  That's where I'm getting the £100 2 night rate.

Just  booked my room at the Village.  The guy on bookings took a while to sort out the Grosvenor code and he then asked me what price I was quoted, so I said £70.  Couple of minutes later, I'm booked in to the family room at £70 Cool

I think i'd better sort out my accommodation sooner rather that later.
What's the website address for this hotel?

www.village-hotels.co.uk

But last time I looked (yesterday) the online rates are now dearer than the Grosvenor Casino rate.
