I've backed Thomas Bjorn in the Sccottish Open @ 38 on Betfair.

He is currently tied for the lead with Darren Clarke two shots clear going into the last round.

I saved my stake (and made a marginal[£5]profit @ 8.

So at present if Bjorn wins I would win about £350, but I could lay him @ just below 3.

I fancy Bjorn to win but he's playing the final round tomorrow with one of his best mates who's wife is very poorly.

I feel that this could possibly make him take it easy.

What would you guys do ?

I would lay

I would also doubt Clarke in the heat of the battle for understandable and sad reasons

I like the look of Tim Clark 3 shots back, last years winner, at around 15 on betfair. That's the value I think for you in case Bjorn falters

In effect you can get a partial hedge there

I've ended up compromising by laying £150/£75 Bjorn.

If Bjorn wins I win just under £200, if anyone else wins I get £80.

Winning score ? I reckon -14 should do it.

A 125-1 chance shot a 63 to win it at 13 under

I knew it was a lay, but wouldn't have picked Edfors if you'd given me ten picks!

Nice compromise/lay sir!

Edfors deserved his win - lucky enough to follow him for a couple of holes towards the end of his round and he was playing beautifully.

Great weather too, and would've loved a tenner on his 125/1 at the beginning of the day !!! Shocked

In the states if you are young and can hit the ball 350 yards and wear colourful shirts you are a seen as a star even if you can barely play the game. What kind of coverage would a guy that has played 11 tour events in his career and won 3 of them get?

That has to be one of the best rounds of golf for a long time.
