Playing a STT on Virgin now.  It's too damn hot.  I may have to sleep on the sofa soon for an hour or so.

So after lobbying the boss for the last 5 months "we need air con - we're in a green house ffs" (I work in the BDC - a big conference centre with glass all over the roof), I get into work this morning and we have brand new beautiful air con...

.....but the internet is down at work, been down all day, so i just had to come back home to no air con to work Sad

I work in greenhouses at a horticulture place.  We grow various plants.  Fotunately I was off today, but normally it is extreamly hot. I always wear shorts and T-Shirt and normally change at lunchtime into fresh clothes.  There is an old guy that works there who wears a woolen jumper and combat trousers even in 36+ c Degrees heat.  He has no sweat pores, in all the time I have been there I have never seen him sweat a bead.  I want to try and get him to enter a tournament for the "Person that sweats the least in the World".  He could be a World Champ, unfortunately he doesn't own a passport and these kind of events are normally abroad

I only managed to stick it out till 2:30pm yesterday, when I had to come home sick.

Running a temperature and sitting next to a window didn't help me any.

All Ive done all day today is lie on my bed completely washed out.

this damn heat is killing me....its 35 deg outside and i've got to work in an office...worst thing is, i work with quite a few young fit women who seem to think they can wear next to nothing in this hot weather...and the bloody air-con is on making it very cold which clearly shows on the ladies tops...

how can I work in these conditions.....eh??

Thats the most unbelievable story I've heard in ages - surely there must be some rule on blonde that if people are going to make these ludicrous remarks that they need to attach photographic evidence as proof?

Nice try Matt Wink

Seriously - I've had my heavy duty fan on for 48 hours straight now;  upped it to setting #2 for the first time and I'm still baking.
