Nedved next, who have the Arse bought this season..? Since we had 16 players playing in the World Cup, it would seem that our squad is already fairly strong. Remind me Nem how many of your rabble were there ?

We are upgrading! This statement cannot be true whilst JJ is still in your squad. Liverpool were never upgrading till Biscan left.

Listen mate, the media actually see Tottenham as part of the "big 5" now, which is great All we need to do now is sell Andy 'Donner Kebab' Reid and we will be there...

Its people like Huddlestone I'm thinking about... I'd love to see if he could do it in the PL now. As for upgrading - you shouldn't upgrade after having something for such a short period of time - tis a dangerous game. I really dont think tottenham are part of a top 5... there are 4 big teams and although tottenham might finish 5th this year it wont be close and is only as a result of other challenging teams for that spot geting weaker rather than stronger, or even staying at the same level. (ie Newcastle & Blackburn)

(ie Newcastle & Blackburn) I disagree. The players we bought within the last 2-3 seasons were bought to gets us into Europe. They have done this now and for us to get to the next level - Champions league football, means we have to add more strenght in dept - Zokora, Duff, Berbatov etc. The gap between us and 3 of the big 4 isn't that great. I can see Spurs getting 4th next season.
