Duff signs for Tottenham Hotspur in £10million deal.

have i missed something? has this deal been done???

Just crossing the t's and dotting the i's.

An ITK Spurs fan posted this on a Spurs forum last week.

Is he the same guy who emails people to help him with large sums of money from the Bank of Nigeria?

is it 10million then?

wow, we must be loaded, as seen as there MUST be another 10million for a striker.... surely?!!!

Why Mido hasnt been snapped up for 3 million I'll never know.

i'm backing the people we've got for a decent run this term. We looked really solid at the end of last season and have Taylor to come back into it as well.

It is true Newcastle logic to buy someone to play where your best player of the year played last year!

Nedved next, who have the Arse bought this season..?  Roll Eyes

lol spurs get within an inch of a decent player and he goes to the other end of the country

Listen mate, the media actually see Tottenham as part of the "big 5" now,  which is great Grin

All we need to do now is sell Andy 'Donner Kebab' Reid and we will be there... Roll Eyes

Its people like Huddlestone I'm thinking about... I'd love to see if he could do it in the PL now.

As for upgrading - you shouldn't upgrade after having something for such a short period of time - tis a dangerous game. I really dont think tottenham are part of a top 5... there are 4 big teams and although tottenham might finish 5th this year it wont be close and is only as a result of other challenging teams for that spot geting weaker rather than stronger, or even staying at the same level. (ie Newcastle & Blackburn)

I disagree.

The players we bought within the last 2-3 seasons were bought to gets us into Europe. They have done this now and for us to get to the next level - Champions league football, means we have to add more strenght in dept - Zokora, Duff, Berbatov etc.

The gap between us and 3 of the big 4 isn't that great. I can see Spurs getting 4th next season.

lol ok
