Table is generally weak. No knowledge of my opponent, although I've seen him chase a couple of draws down and I don't think he's that great.

Seat 6: Iluvwhill ($80.83 in chips)
Seat 8: Neskolado ($32.66 in chips)

UncleBak: calls $1
----- FLOP ----- [ ]

if it was deep stacks i would fold without much thought, he could be holding huge straight draws or a set higher than yours.

i would call on your decription, fish always make these huge plays on the turn in omaha with just open ended straight draws, they seem to think they have more chance of hitting for some reason. Unfortunately they often do and you are left feeling sickened.

It's a strange reraise. he flat called on the flop and preflop. If he has pocket kings (which he's representing) he probably would have raised pre flop...(people who don't play Omaha a lot ussually do). So I probably won't take him for that. (after your description of him)
He can have a straight draw but he can't have the straight.

He could ofcourse have jacks but then I don't understand why he would flat call after the flop with a straightdraw out there and the odds of an overcard coming on the board also being quite large.

I take him for 2 pair..or the straight draw (which he's now betting to win the hand there and then and get you out of it)

I'd stick all my chips in here as I don't think he can beat your set at the moment. he might hit his straight draw but that's a chance you have to take.

Wow spot on read there boldie. Though having played some $1/$2 PLO over on Tribecca, you'd be surprised how often they check top set on the flop and only bet it when the flush or straightening card comes...

----- TURN ----- [ ][]
ffbguru: checks
Foaming_h: bets $24
ffbguru: raises to $54
Foaming_h: raises to $84
ffbguru: is all-in $21
Returned uncalled bets $9 to Foaming_h
----- RIVER ----- [ ][]
----- SHOW DOWN -----
Foaming_h: shows [ ] (Four of a kind, Sevens, King high)
ffbguru: shows [ ] (Two Pairs, Kings and Jacks, Seven high)
Foaming_h collects $171 from Main pot

that's just shoddy play IMO...in omaha you never check the nuts before the final card has fallen ..because odds are the nuts won't be the nuts anymore when the next card comes down.

I am a better omaha player then a hold em player and therefore like to think that I actually understand omaha..and I have never checked a straight with the river yet to come in Omaha. If the board pairs up you are almost certainly buggered...hell if you'd had two little diamonds you would have taken this.
The only hope that he could have is that you have trip Queens and would bet into him (before the river comes down) so he can re-raise you...he doesn't want to see a rivercard as there are too many cards out there that can beat him.

Let's give him credit and say he trap checked you on the turn...it failed. He now (with the diamond coming) can't raise on the river...or he could but as soon as you re-raiosed (even if you don't have the flush it would be the correct play) he can't call you.

I like his check on the river therefore...he simply had no choice..but he put himself in that position by letting you see a free card on the river.
