Starting tonight, at 11pm, this week's edition is from Aspers in Newcastle, the usual interviews & stuff, plus Rhow, who looks really rather lovely when she does her "link". Part One features a round-up of results from Vegas, where, with any luck, I hope to be next week myself, if I can eventually get my diary sorted out. Channel 854, 11pm, every night.

Meanwhile, across on Channel 843 at 10pm, right through until 02.00 am, we need your e-mailed questions please, they, quite simply, make the show.

Behave now.

Can you edit the title to include "tikay on the telly" - the wednesday night live thread seems to get livelier when it has those words in it Smiley

I don't NEED Make-Up, thank you. What you see, is what you get.

Is it too late for a refund?

I have question tikey and its a serious poker one! perish the thought

I have difficulty actually winning MTT's, infact I have never won one.

This is not to say I have not found myself at lots of final tables with healthy chipstakes. But my problem is I tend to just hang in and climb the prize money ladder. What am I doing wrong? what adjustments should I make to win the odd one?

Typical example is blonde weekly freeroll in 8 attempts I have been 3/6/9/2/4 Sad

I think you answered that yourself!

You are trying to climb the ladder!

Flushy has it in one... instead of going for the jugular, you are trying to climb the ladder. Thats not to say that each doesnt have its merits, but if you want to claim first prize you need to keep accumulating chips.

I've heard loads of times that you need to play to win, not to just make the money, but to really play like you are going to win the event.  I'm guilty of it myself, it's not an easy thing for me to grasp sometimes and I wonder how I'm supposed to play hands differently to maximise their potential, but that's the difference between making the money and winning.

Isn't the idea to email in quesions to the show so Tikay can answer them rather than answer them here?  Cheesy

4 Flush comes on the river to the guy holding the nut ace.

tikay "well its a split pot there, lots of high cards counterfeiting those low kickers"

prestenter "yep, a split... oh, no, its a fush!"

tikay "well i never saw a flush!"
