Ive seen the entire first series now, fine show, well worth sticking with............. NO BAPS tho.........

And there is a lot of unanswered questions! Roll on Sept 19th for the start of the second series!

is the whole show pre written?
i.e. do they pose questions now that they know the answers to already or making it up as they go along?
Babylon5 was written in a way that they revealed answers slowly throughout the various series but it was designed that way and all series were written years before filming

The main concepts and theroys are all pre written, as in 'the purpose of the island' etc but the development of characters happens from episode to episode.  The guy who created the show, jj abrahms reckons theres enough for 8 series!! even though all he did was write the pilot........

I've seen the Trailer for series 2 and all I can say is "WOW"  bring it on!

I haven't read this thread, but due to the overwhelming popularity of 'Lost', I thought I'd give the show a shot and offer my 2 cents be4 it was too late. Luckily, I managed to find someone who had the first 4 episodes on tape, so I have been able to catch up! Well, almost. I'm on episode 3 at the mo, but... wow, great show!

What an opening sequence. I really wasn't expecting something so high budget. Also, I personally love all the eeriness. I'd be bored stiff otherwise if it was all 'will they be saved or not?'. I was a big Twin Peaks, X-Files, etc fan, so any paranormal element is a welcome addition in my eyes.

Looking forward to watching the rest of the show to find out what the hell's goin on.  Smiley

ps. There were a lot of good looking people on that plane! 4 or 5 Georg Clooney alikes if I'm not mistaken. But only 2 or 3 hot chicks! That's not fair! Plus, one's pregnant. Bah.

Season 2 starts in the US on september 23rd and is scheduled for summer next year here in blighty and there are some amazing twists next season, the writers reckon its better than season 1.

For those of you not wnating to wait to see the end of season 1 before it finishes airing over here you can buy the full dvd set from any american website as its just been released retail over in the US

Seeing as you all seem to like US shows a fair bit.

Check out "over there" its a new show on FOX that follows a group of soldiers in the Iraq war, its quite simply awsome!!! There have been 5 episodes so far.

I just found a trailer for season 2 of LOST hidden on the www.oceanic-air.com website, that site has got spoilers on it tho peeps so be warned.
