Watching "first video" from tuff fish, I am getting obsessed with this now. Am I supposed to be learning something from these videos?

So far, I don't think he's playing that badly.... which is also worrying! Cheesy

I watched the first video, and it all seemed to be going okay for him.

Just watched the one JC recommended, where he tilts off all that money with the 77 vs AK on a board that has two K's... Cheesy

The thing is, he keeps reraising with these middle pairs, gets called and then rages about all the people calling him. But if he knows they call, then why reraise with a hand like that? Cheesy

I see why you like it so much... I don't play those hands quite as "aggressively" as that. I don't rage about the hands where nobody calls me. But every now and again when the hand that shouldn't call does and wins, the cry of "unbelievable!" rings out across the peaceable suburbs of London, so I can relate to him...

the hands where he keeps overbetting the pot... because he's on crazy steam tilt... Cheesy

It has cheered me up after a pretty bad (in poker terms) night, so thanks Cheesy

2nd video: right at the start he has AA vs AT suited (nut flush draw), he's raised all-in on the flop and calls - loses when the flush hits the river. Laughs it off.

When he rebuys for $400, we briefly see that he's working off a $2400 bankroll, playing  shorthanded $2/$4 NL at $400 a pop... now, is that smart?

When he plays well, I don't think he's that bad a player.

But I think he struggles a lot reading other opponent's holdings which gets him trouble, plus he can't see straights, has a ridiculous innate paranoia about flushes and of course goes on major tilt.

But he still rules.

..has a ridiculous innate paranoia about flushes...

But surely we all know that flushes always hit the river...

Don't we? Sad
